Epson L8180, L8190 (EURO) Ver.1.0.3 Service Adjustment Program (often referred to as an "Adjustment Utility" or "Reset Tool") is a specialized, proprietary software utility primarily used by authorized service centers, technicians, and in some cases, end-users, for performing advanced maintenance and calibration tasks on the Epson EcoTank L8180 and L8190 photo printers.
- The Epson L8180, L8190 Adjustment Program allows for critical maintenance and service functions beyond what is available in the standard user driver or control panel. These functions typically include: Waste Ink Pad Counter Reset: This is the most common reason for using the program. All inkjet printers collect waste ink in absorbent pads (the waste ink pads or platen pad). Once the printer's internal counter determines these pads are full (based on an estimated calculation of printed pages and cleaning cycles), the printer displays a "Service required" or "Waste ink pad is at the end of its service life" error and will cease to print.
